Over 60 companies applied to compete in Get Started Rhode Island and through several rounds of elimination , Mocingbird , represented by Scott Duarte , became one of the six finalists to compete for a prize package worth $ 55,000 , including $ 30,000 in cash . Mocingbird has built a platform that simplifies a clinician ’ s task of tracking and storing their continuing education certifications .
