The Social Committee is pleased to announce multiple holiday events scheduled at the club in December .
December 10th
• Annual Member Cocktail Party & Pro Shop Sale
• Time : 6 pm- 8pm
Mark your calendars for this evening of cocktails and hors-d ’ oeuvres ! It ’ s the club ’ s gift of appreciation to members . We are changing it up this year ! It ’ s going to be a fun night . Plan to Christmas Shop ! The Pro Shop will be open , there will be discounts and free gift wrapping . We have gifts for golfers and nongolfers . Look for our club member models that evening . We have something for everyone !
December 19th
• Brunch With Santa - 11:30 am - 2 pm
• Bring the family for a delicious buffet brunch with Santa Claus
December 31st
• Plan to begin your New Year ’ s Eve celebration at the club . Enjoy a delicious candlelight dinner with wine pairing and music .
• Dinner will be served from 5:30 pm to 8 pm .
• Plan to go downtown after dinner for the ball drop !
The Social Committee is also making plans for January , February and March . Below is a sneak peek of what ’ s coming : Three Local Wineries In Three Months . We have multiple wineries located in Rockbridge County that produce exquisite wines . We are planning three wine & dinner events in Jan / Feb / March .
• Sip & Paint is an event Deborah Goglia , Marketing Director , will schedule early in 2022 . Participants drink wine and paint ( bring out your creative side ). This event will be scheduled on a Saturday afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm . Dates to be announced .
• Mid-Winter Indoor Putt Putt . The Garvis and Shank families are planning this one in January . Watch for date and time ! Plan on lots of laughs .
• Cocktails For a Cause . This is a great way to support our local community organizations . More to come on planned events for 2022 .
Major Events Update Neal Lineberry , Chairman of the Major Events Committee , asks that LGCC members mark their calendars for the upcoming Four Major Event weekends planned in 2022 . Think Memorial Day Weekend ! It is sure to be a fun-filled weekend for members and families . There will be food , drinks , golf , music , tennis , racquet sports , pool events , games and fun for the entire family . Much more to come on this ! Why leave town when you can spend the weekend having fun at LGCC ?
