If anyone were to ask me which style of poetry I use, I wouldn't be able to answer with one specific style. I have always been the type of person who doesn't care to fit into a certain type of genre, style, etc. After looking back at most of my poems, I can see that I incorporate a little of the styles I talked about in this newsletter this month. Based on that and my overstanding of these terms, it's been difficult to determine exactly which style of poetry I would fit right into.

If I were to come up with a name for my style of poetry writing, I would wish to call it कलम योद्धा (kalam yoddha) which means "Pen Warrior" in Hindi. I feel that name would fit my style best. I consider myself a warrior. Not because of physical strength, but the strength and will within me to continue to live and fight through whatever demons and troubles I may face. Instead of fighting physically or verbally, I fight with my pen: the main thing I use to write my poetry ad lyrics into my notebooks.

I'm a strong individual inside ad out. I've gotten to that point through determination from determination and motivation from others and within myself. MY writing skills have also gotten stronger. Not just in what I write, but the way I write it as well. The way I express certain thoughts and emotions has matured with me.

The stronger I've allowed myself to become mentally, emotionally and physically, the stronger my story telling has grown stronger. Regardless if the story is real or stemming from my imagination, I still get the same feeling of pride knowing I've strengthen myself, but also my work. I've also grown stronger by knowing how well I've done and feeling proud, but never allowing the pride o overshadow the humbleness and knowing I can and will always improve.

A story is a story and I'll always tell it in the best way I know how.
