In this review , we will be looking at the wonderful Numark Platinum Pro FX . Without further ado , dive straight into the product and its features .
First things first , the Numark Platinum Pro FX is light and compact . The package comes with the controller , USB cable , user guide , safety and warranty manual .
It has great jog-wheels which feel amazing , just like a professional DJ controller . The great looking product also has a very nice and smooth crossfader .
The pitch control setting has a nice rubbery finish which feels nice to touch . This makes it perfect for outdoor parties where humidity keeps varying . On the right , we have the master control and loop functions right below .
The Numark Platinum Pro FX comes with a perfect high pass , low pass filter featuring a 3 band EQ . The gain knobs make it easy to browse through tracks and the DJ won ’ t have to rely on touching the laptop for changing them .
Moving on to the effects sections , the Numark Platinum Pro FX has an ECHO system with a dry and wet ratio setting .
The most special feature on the Numark Platinum Pro FX is the jog wheel which also has a display . The display allows you to observe the track timing and features a cue marker like most pro DJing equipment .
The cue point as we see here can be tracked just by looking at the jog wheels or the jog dial display . It is great for beat juggling without looking at the cue point on the laptop . The line faders are pretty sharp . The crossfader is of good quality , allowing you to perform basic and advanced scratch techniques . To top it all , the Numark Platinum Pro FX also has some solid cue buttons .
