“ It ' s hard for me to choose a favourite song , but there were three artists in particular who got me through lockdown : Hilary Hahn , Coldplay , and the legendary SP Balasubrahmanyam sir .”
Sandeep Narayan 1 ) John McLaughlin , Shankar Mahadevan , and Zakir Hussain : Sakhi .
I have always been a big fan of Shakti and it was nice to hear a reprisal of their music .
2 ) P Unnikrishnan ’ s tribute track to SP Balasubramaniam Sir .
We were all in shock after SPB Sir ’ s passing . And of the many tributes , this track struck a chord with me .
3 ) Meendum Pirandheno by Sean Roldan , ft Lalitha Sudha .
I heard a very early version of this tune , and I knew then that it was something special . The final version blew me away and I listened to it on loop for days .”

Kamakshi Khanna •' Bittersweet ’ - Lianne La Havas .
Lianne La Havas has been one of my go-to artists for years . I feel like she has a song for every possible mood and emotion . This particular song just fits so well when I need a song to uplift me , soothe me or even just enhance a positive emotion that I might already be feeling .
•‘ Pancakes for Dinner ’ - Lizzy Mcalpine .
This song has the ability to instantly put a smile on my face . I discovered Lizzy Mcalpine on Instagram and since then have been in love with every video she puts up .
•‘ In too Deep ’ - Jacob Collier & Kiana Lede .
One of the most beautiful , pristine and heartfelt songs I ’ ve come across in recent times . Some songs make you feel like they ’ re too beautiful to be real and feel like a daydream . This is definitely one of those .

“ Actually BTS ...( Boy in Luv and Dynamite ). I explored their music .. I should have done it earlier .. but timing is perfect .. I love the energy and honesty in their music .. most importantly their story and rise to fame is very inspiring .
Mali ' s music has always inspired me .. Both her lyrics and melodies do something to me . Mango Showers is my favourite .
Mercy by Hurts is another track .. So powerful and inspiring .”

“ It ' s very difficult to say just 3 songs . We heard a lot of Lalgudi Jayaraman mama ’ s music and Shri . GNB sir ’ s music . I would say we also heard a lot of Ilayaraja , esp S . P . Balasubramaniam ’ s songs , to relive those beautiful memories that we had listening to those songs on long drives .”

“ The earth-loving music of Nick Barbachano , Shimshai and Herbert Quinteros , particularly the songs ( respectively ) “ Arbolito Divino ”, “ Suddhosi Buddhosi ” and “ Sen Sen Mariri ”, reinforced my own connection to this planet and the need to respect and revere her even more .“
