What did you do musically through lockdown ? Did you release new music ?
Oh yes . I think the lockdown helped me make an album on my own from home , and still allow collaboration online . This pandemic also helped me speak and express my feelings during this time .
This is a time which is new for us all , where we feel and experience a plethora of emotions , most of them alien to us . The album " Future " speaks on mental health , and the many dimensions it presents itself to us .
So far three singles from the album has been released , the last being " Bure Khayaal " featuring Kartikay and Keya Pothen . The song speaks about our fight with negative emotions usually ending on a
road to solitude and depression .

Challenges you faced when recording your songs / making new music
Well usually When i begin an indie project , it involves real musicians , a new sound that takes time to create from these new collaborations , usually a couple of months . This was not possible during the lockdown , and this inturn made me do something I would most certainly not try when it comes to an indie production . Ofcourse collaborations online take time , as you have to create those relationships first before the music . but this handicap turned out to be a new experience for sure , helping me work with artists away from home .
How do you think the music scene can recover from the pandemic hit ?
I think Indie music has been granted its biggest recovery . These months helped people value the importance of indie music . The lack of film releases during this time , helped so many new artists to come into the forefront .
I know many musicians who have given up their careers and started to look into different avenues too . Yet , I think we will slowly get back to our normal lives soon - Films will be released , Indie music too . Concerts are already being scheduled in November , and slow but steadily we will overcome . Musicians are tough people and everyone has found their way to survive through this pandemic whether its getting back home , or getting into ancillary professions such as teaching etc
What can we look forward to from you now ?
After releasing a lot of music , I ’ m taking a bit of a break for a couple of months to enjoy the holidays , breathe and take notice of all that I ’ ve achieved in a very short span . Once 2021 hits , be prepared for a whole lot more music , though .
