CHHRC member and homeschooler is making moves in tennis!
Rebecca is in her second year of homeschool. “I absolutely love it, but it comes with some challenges that make me a stronger athlete and student."
Her tennis ranking has increased and went from being 50 in the middle states to now being a top ten player in the 14s Middle States and traveling/qualifying to the national tournament this year.
“I am very excited to start playing International tournaments as well, which will begin next year”. Rebecca is also a competitive Irish dancer. “I have been very successful in those competitions, as I have won nationals a few times. As well as that, my team has performed at the Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Phillies games, as well as a halftime performance at a Flyers Game.” Rebecca stated, "Without this team of excellent coaches, I wouldn’t be where I am.”
Rebecca has traveled for national tennis tournaments, national Irish dance competitions, while maintaining a 4.0 GPA in all 7 of her classes while doing so.
