TRINITY UNITED CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE
Saturday, Dec. 24, the Trinity United Church in Cookshire came alive with the holding of their annual Christmas Eve Service at 2 p. m. Student Minister Tami Spires welcomed all to their special service filled with the Christmas message and carols sang by the choir.
This service also had a guest by the name of Rev. Samuel V. Dansokho from nearby Plymouth Trinity United Church in Sherbrooke. Rev. Dansokho and Student Minister Tami Spires certainly made this service one to remember by all. Santa Claus even showed up at the service to greet the children. He had to get back soon after to the North Pole and load up his sleigh for Christmas. He handed out candy canes to all before hopping aboard his sleigh and heading off. It was a very enjoyable way to spend time with family and friends during the holiday season.

At a little after 11 a. m., the turkey dinner was served to over 300 people from all over the region and beyond.
