( Continued from page 15) School in 2000. In school he was an active athlete, playing soccer and baseball, and he was also a member of the school band in which he played the trombone.
For a few years, Steve was a short-order cook at the Wilderness Restaurant in Colebrook. He was also an amateur tattoo artist, and was proud to have given his brother his first tattoo. He was very strong-willed and artistic, and an animal lover. He enjoyed living life and he was a friend to many. Steve also enjoyed snowboarding and rollerblading.
Steve is survived by his father, Charles Haynes of Columbia; his mother, Pamela Baker of Apple Valley, Calif.; his daughter, Alyssa McKinnon of Colebrook; two brothers, Gregory Baker of Colebrook and Thomas Baker of Boscawen; and a sister, Stephanie Baker of Auburn.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, Dec., 4, 2016, from 4 to 7 p. m. at the Jenkins and Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook. A private service will be held at a later date in 2017.

Sue-Ann was born in Lancaster on June 10, 1947, the daughter of John and Eleanor( Robertson) Jordan.
Sue-Ann was a longtime resident of Groveton and a graduate of Groveton High School. In 1989 she moved to Guildhall where she has resided since. She was a horse enthusiast, enjoyed poker, cards, camp, puzzles, crosswords, wildlife, scratch tickets and her never ending bowls of candy. She was a huge fan of the Red Sox and Patriots and enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Her devotion to her beloved cat Scootie and her amazing grandchildren was unsurpassed. For 31 years she was employed with Manchester Knitted Fashions.
Surviving family members include her children, Joelle Rooney Bastian and Don Meek of Lancaster, John E. Rooney and wife Jodi( Smith) Rooney of Lancaster, Robert A. Simpson of Littleton; grandchildren, Mikala, Jordan, and Myah Bastian, Chelsey and Chad Kenison, Jillian Rooney, Lukas, Christian, Gavin, Ava and Emma Simpson; a sister Linda Young of Linfield, Penn.; nieces and nephews, Karla and Michael Trawitz, Autumn and Hailey Trawitz, Phillip” Butch” and Pam Young, Aaron and Ella Young. She was predeceased by her husband Jon Simpson; her longtime companion Gary McGuire; a brother-in-law Phillip Young.
Memorial visiting hours will held Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 a. m. to noon at the Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster. A committal service will be held in the spring in Northumberland Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

COLEBROOK – Stephen C. Baker, 34, of Colebrook passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 27, 2016.
He was born in Manchester on Aug. 4, 1982, a son to Charles Haynes and Pamela Baker. Steve grew up and attended schools in the Manchester area, graduating from Goffstown High

CANAAN, Vt.– Keith A. Brockney, 86, of Canaan, Vt., died on Tuesday evening, Nov. 29, 2016, at the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook.
He was born in Canaan on May 23, 1930, a son to the late Archie A. and Hazel( Hann) Brockney. He was raised and educated in Canaan, and spent most of his life working on the family farm, from which Keith enjoyed telling countless stories. Keith was also a veteran of the U. S. Army and was part of the occupation force in Germany in the early 1950s. A carpenter by trade, he also worked for Robert Shaw for many years. He loved to hunt and fish, and he enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden. He was talented inventor of things and always loved to be tinkering with something.
Keith leaves behind his son, Kevin Brockney and wife Lisa of Canaan; two step-sons, Eddie Chaloux of Dover, and Michael Chaloux of West Rutland, Vt.; four grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Billie( Statkum) Brockney in 2015; a son, Kenneth Brockney, and three siblings.
There will be no public services. Keith will be privately laid to rest in the Alice Hunt Cemetery in Canaan.

LUNENBURG, Vt.– Pauline E. Fox, 90, of West Main Street, died at her home Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016 after a long illness. She was surrounded by her family.
Fox was born in St. Johnsbury on March 4, 1926, the daughter of Lawrence and Clara( Leighton) Morse. For many years she worked at the Gilman Library and was post-master relief at the Gilman Post Office. She had many interests including knitting, crocheting, reading and crossword puzzles. Pauline also loved to attend country dances with her friend Charlie. She was an avid WWF and Red Sox fan and at 50 years old she acquired her GED. She loved family gatherings and cookouts and always remembered birthdays and anniversaries of her whole family.
Surviving family members include 11 children, Eileen Wilson( Jim), Susan Dodge( Fred), David Fox( Mabel), Candace Colbeth( Ted), Janice Benoit( Ken) Kathy Anderson( Don), Stephen Fox, Michael Fox( Judy), Peggy Earnshaw( Dennis), Lisa White( Lauren), Elizabeth Cliche( Tim); sisters Lolly and Luanne of Springfield, Vt.; 24 grandchildren; 34 greatgrandchildren; 11 great-greatgrandchildren( including three sets of five generations); and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband George E. Fox; infant children Brian and Cora; a daughter Shari Bradbury; a brother Robert Morse; a sister Lorene Morse; a grand-daughter Tammy Anderson and a greatgrandson Benjamin Dodge.
At Pauline’ s request there are no public services or calling hours. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Lunenburg will be held at convenience of the family.
