Thank You WSCA !
I am honored to have been selected as a 2022 WSCA Scholarship recipient . I am currently a first year at Augustana University , studying biochemistry and medical laboratory science . I intend to go on to graduate school for a career in pathology . At Augie I am a Trustees Fellow in Chemistry , a STEM scholar , volunteer through Serving and Learning Together and am active in SKOL ( school spirit activities ). I appreciate the time and effort the selection committee devotes to reviewing and considering each application . I thank Judges Denise Reeser , Ben Sparks , and Bonita Peterson for donating their Champ Show earnings to the Scholarship fund . I am grateful for all of the opportunities I have had through WSCA ; spending time with my family , developing friendships , experiencing joy when hours of hard work pay off and humbling moments when a run just didn ’ t go our way . I look forward to being a member of the WSCA family for years to come .
