New Appointment at Kwik-Fit
Simon Koch. CEO of the Kwik-Fit Group,
has announced that Corrie Taljaard will be
joining the group in January 2015. Taljaard
is a top industry executive who comes with
a host of experience in the motor, fitment
and franchise sector, having served stints
at Auto Plus working with the Mr Exhaust,
Mr Tyre, and Speedy Tyre & Exhaust
brands, and then with Hi-Q where his role
encompassed business development, sales
analysis, demographic studies, training,
target setting, procurement, IT, fleet sales,
and all local and regional marketing and
promotions. He then did a stint at the RMI
where he was director for the Tyre Dealers
and Fitment Association.
Taljaard’s primary role will be to run
the franchise business, focusing on
managing relationships with franchisees
and suppliers while also looking at new
business development and all new services
and innovations going forward. He will be
based at Kwik-Fit’s head office in Dunkeld
West, Johannesburg.
