Mike’ s career journey started in the most fundamental way— in operations. After completing his studies at Hilton College and the Joburg Hotel School, he immediately dove into the hospitality industry, completing a rigorous Management Trainee program with the Southern Sun Hotel Group. Working his way through every hotel department taught him the nuts and bolts of efficiency, staff management, and exceptional service.
