He has appreciated all his kitchen experience but is most excited about grilling meat perfectly. His joy comes from preparing a steak or a signature rack of lamb and working with a team of people he loves.

Now he is making a mark on this city’ s vibrant restaurant scene with Argentinean style pizzas and empanadas. Alfonso is excited about turning his brand of La Pampa empanadas into Winnipeg’ s new favourite snack food.

CIBO 339 WATERFRONT DR. 204-594-0339 Josh Hynes began cooking as a teen commandeering supper prep for his family. Even though there were some misses, he learned from them and enjoyed creating dishes. As an adult his training continued in restaurant kitchens and led to CIBO. His‘ unfussy’ cooking approach is a perfect match for a Mediterranean inspired menu and modern casual cafe.
