Membership Luncheon Event Highlights
Thank you to all who donated to the Lawyers for Literacy Committee ’ s Books and Teddy Bear Drive benefiting National Adoption Day ! Over 1000 books and bears , and over $ 1,300.00 was donated to The Childrens Home Society , making this another successful year .
PBCBA Board of Directors Nomination Petitions
Members seeking to run for a position on the Board of Directors will need to obtain a nomination petition and must be a member in good standing of the Palm Beach County Bar Association . The nominating petition must be signed by no fewer than 20 members in good standing of the Association .
Petitions for President-elect will be available on Friday , December 1 , 2023 , and are due back in the office by 5:00 P . M . on Tuesday , January 5 , 2024 . Petitions for Director-at-Large seats will be available on Thursday , December 7 , 2023 , and are due back in the Bar office by 5:00 P . M . on Thursday , January 11 , 2024 .
Petitions may be obtained by calling the Bar office at ( 561 ) 687-2800 or by sending an e-mail requesting a petition to Carla Tharp Brown , Executive Director at CTBrown @ PalmBeachBar . org . The annual election of officers and directors of the Palm Beach County Bar will take place via online voting in April 2024 , if necessary .
