MEET THE CAST
Kristen Behrendt DeGrazia( Heidi Hansen) Kristen is thrilled to be a part of Dear Evan Hansen. Last seen at TCR as Margaret in Carrie: The Musical. Broadway: Les Misérables, Sunset Boulevard, King David, Side Show. National tour: Les Misérables( Fantine.) She’ s performed extensively in Chicago and across the Corridor. Kristen is a vocal and theater arts educator at Iowa Conservatory and Nolte Academy, and a private voice teacher and audition coach. BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan. For Mom.
Maia DeGrazia( Ensemble) Maia is so happy to be back in good ol’ Iowa after an eight month hiatus teaching in France! She was last seen on the TCR stage in Fun Home( Medium Alison). Outside of theatre, you can find Maia grinding for her pre-PA classes and spending time with her fur-baby Daisy, and step-fur-baby Beau( shoutout to boyfriend Garrett). As always, Maia wants to thank the talented cast and crew, and her parents for their loving support.
Jennifer Ford( Cynthia Murphy) Jen is thrilled to be back on the TCR stage for this heartfelt and powerful show. Recent credits include Hairspray( Velma Von Tussle), Fun Home( Helen Bechdel), and Mamma Mia!( Tanya). Jennifer is grateful for every opportunity to tell meaningful stories and thanks her family, friends, and theater community for their endless love and support. A shout out to Angie and Janelle for giving her the opportunity to work with this amazing cast and to help tell this unforgettable story.
Katelyn Halverson( Zoe Murphy) This is Katelyn’ s sixth show with TCR. Notable credits include Something Rotten!( Portia) and Carrie: The Musical( Carrie White). Other memorable credits for her include Next to Normal( Natalie Goodman), Spring Awakening( Wendla), and Legally Blonde( Elle Woods). Aside from theatre, Katelyn performs with two bands, works in childcare, and studies Music Therapy at the University of Iowa. She feels so blessed for this opportunity and for all of the support that has gotten her to where she is today. She thanks you for coming to the show and looks forward to sharing this important story with the community.
Jeffrey Harrington( Evan Hansen) Jeffrey Harrington is so grateful to be playing Evan Hansen! Recent TCR credits include The Little Mermaid( Scuttle), Jersey Boys( Frankie Valli) and Something Rotten!( Nigel Bottom). You may have also seen him in Spelling Bee( Chip Tolentino) or in Merrily We Roll Along( Charley Kringas) at Revival Theatre Company.
