INCEPTION ?
DIVYE : “ VILLA IN SURAJMAL VIHAR " a residence in New Delhi . a residence in New Delhi . Any project starts with a brief that filters down to an ambition or dream of the owner . The client wanted a “ Boutique High End ” Villa .
Concept of bringing outdoor inside and intangibility twixt spatial configuration , design elements , textures & patterns is what we emphasized on . Starting with the Façade or “ Building Attire ” as the architect likes to call it , the conventional way of designing is challenged , pushing the envelope bringing out a sculptural quality .
Detailing & Layering into depths of design is what creates an effective & open-ended perception outside & inside and whatever you see & experience .
DIVYE : The dynamic facade is the primary eye catching feature of the house . Form and pure architectural elements put together to create “ CHIC yet ELEGANT ” Façade . The Lounge & Family Dining are brushed with metal finish and soft hues combined to create a serene yet luxurious ambience . The Living room has a strong sense of unfolding textures depicting elegant palette coupled with a play of grandeur . The bathrooms can also be intriguing and why not with vibrant colors and a dash of luxe . Spaces otherwise neglected have been carefully , design .
I would say rather than a single design element , it ’ s the meticulous designed details coupled with overall asymmetry has to be the protagonist in this amazing villa . The house has a distinct dissimilarity as you go from one space to another .
