AD : ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE ELEMENTS FROM THIS SPACE THAT YOU CHERISH THE MOST AND WHY ?
SAM : One of my favourite elements from the Merchiston Apartment is the rug . I ’ ve worked with cc-tapis for many years now , but this was the first instance that I designed a rug specifically for the room scheme . It was great fun puttign together the design and when the client signed off and discussions progressed with cc-tapis then when it arrived it was very cool to see my design finally realised . Its a pretty big rug too , and with a number fo different pile height sit was great to explore what could be done with the hand knotted rug .
