TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PROJECT ? WHAT WAS THE CONCEPT BEHIND ITS DESIGN
INCEPTION ?
RAJAT & SHRUTI : This was a 4500 sqft project in Gurugram for an old couple whose brief was to give then a home which was comfortable , warm and timeless .
Our intent was to do a mix of contemporary luxury and classical elements to create spaces that feel open , elegant , timeless but at the same time functional . We have used intense colours and delicate patterns with equal panache . The interiors for this space are refined and sophisticated , light-filled and airy , all the spaces range in style from elegantly traditional to luxuriously minimalist to glamorously unconventional . The idea was to build spaces around a client ’ s family heirlooms , art collection , and knickknacks so that the room is always a reflection of the individual .

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE DESIGN ELEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROJECT ?
RAJAT & SHRUTI : We fell in love with the place the moment we saw for the arches because that gave us the base for our design inception . We immediately knew that we wanted to build around them and create a Modern Classical feel to the space .
When it comes to architectural details , an arch never goes out of style in the interior design world . From Moroccan-inspired doorways with carved notches to sweeping arched passageways with smooth , clean edges , an arch goes a long way in elevating a room ’ s aesthetic impact . Modern Classical interiors look gorgeous with beautiful arches . Arched openings add classy and elegant look to modern interior design and make decorating feel elegant , harmonious and pleasant . Mixed by classic design and the modern design , the result was the European modern classic interior design . And then the same design language was extended in the entire space .
