The architecture involves creating a boiserie that redesigns the different functions of the typical rooms in an apartment : entrance , study , bathroom , kitchen and living room . The tactile aspect of the tiles on the floor and wall ( up to a height of 240 cm ) creates a pleasant contrast with the texture of the ceiling . It is designed to create an intimate and familiar perception of the space making it very different from a conventional showroom .
The wooden walkway naturally guides the visitor through the different rooms as they unfold . At the same time , each room is defined by a texture that marks out and defines its specific function .
The floating floor and the boiserie break away from the existing structure of the apartment in which cleanliness , clarity and tidiness are the central concept throughout . The design is completed by the choice of floor tiles that are not attached to the wall and thus resemble rugs , and the pinkish unfinished walls above the boiserie , which reflect the rigour in all the rooms .
