SWATI : We started our series with the Oru Lounge chair , one of our favourites in this collection . Another favourite of ours is the Harvey Armchair . The armchairs are inspired by the forms and shapes of post-modernism , where we adapted the ergonomics to cater to the Indian audience .
ORU , is inspired by the simplicity and sleekness of mid-century modern era . The enire chair is hand-crafted from reclaimed teakwood and woven in natural cane with a “ Box weave ” pattern . The armrest flairs out to make space for the arm to rest comfortably on it . The idea behind was to stay away from engineered materials and create a more sustainable design .
HARVEY , the stunning armchair is handcrafted with naturally seasoned reclaimed teakwood and hand-woven natural cane . It carries the beauty of natural cane in its blind weave with hexagonal pattern , which turns seamlessly from the back into the seat .
