Strategy 9: Leverage data to enhance transparency, collaboration, and inform strategies.
To better address the barriers faced by individuals under community supervision, DCS is committed to greater transparency, stronger partnerships, and data-informed decisionmaking. The launch of the Research & Innovation Hub( RIH) on our public website marks a key step in this effort.
Moving forward, we aim to:( a) host an External Data Lab that shares important metrics with the public, building trust and accountability,( b) integrate data systems with partner agencies to ensure critical information is exchanged seamlessly, improving coordination and service delivery,( c) Develop and deploy the Agency Internal Metrics Dashboard( AIM-D), a suite of dashboards designed to visualize data trends and patterns to inform strategy.
Together, these initiatives create a data-driven foundation for addressing barriers and improving outcomes in community supervision..
