The DCS Team is composed of dedicated public servants who have a heart for their community and a passion for making a difference . By investing in our team we know that we are investing in better service to the citizens of Georgia . As such , during Fiscal Year 2022 DCS conducted the second iteration of our Employee Engagement Survey designed to give team members a direct opportunity to assess the workplace and culture of the Department .
The results from this engagement survey were quite notable . Not only did we have a record number of responses but nearly 80 % of employees responded with strong positivity for recommending DCS as a great place to work . Even more , nearly 70 % of employees consider DCS a positive environment for career development . Using these results as a guidepost , the DCS Team established four focus groups to further analyze employee engagement and develop action plans to ensure we remain a place where our dedicated employees feel valued for the amazing work they do each and every day
