Support Staff Appreciation Day

On April 3, 2019, scores of support staff
employees gathered at the Georgia
Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth
for a full day of celebration, professional
development, and appreciation. Support
staff is defined as employees who are
not POST Certified, such as administrative
assistants, reentry staffers, and many
others. DCS has approximately 500
support staffers who assist nearly 1,500
officers throughout the state.
