High School Athletics:
The Daystar Phoenix athletic program plans to build on a strong foundation of
athletics which has been established within our Elementary and Middle School.
Students who are entering the high school will find opportunities to compete in
a variety of team and individual sports.
Qualified staff and community members employ the coaching ranks, ensuring
quality coaching with a focus on skill development, fitness, sportsmanship,
fair-play, and a deepening understanding of the sport or activity. High school
athletes will have the opportunity to compete against other schools across
Beijing and beyond. Through various channels Phoenix athletes will also have
opportunities to engage in a variety of camps held during our vacations within
China and internationally. A Daystar athlete is one who not only competes
to be the best on the field of competition, but one who also competes
academically and has a high standard of citizenship within our community.
