Over the years we have built relationships with many local schools,
charities and churches.
We are proud to be involved in a range of sponsorship programmes, our resources are not just
limited to financial support. We are able to design and print invitations, produce posters, flyers,
advertising boards, help plan and co-ordinate the event and of course, we will be there on the day
to help where needed. Some examples of our sponsorship projects include:
Sunnyside Playgroup (Stansted Mountfitchet)
David Lee are proud to support Sunnyside Playgroup in Stansted. It’s being
run by local’s Rachel & Olly Pocknell and required similar funding to the
Birchanger scheme regarding start up cost’s - Opening 7th March in St
Johns Church Hall 9.30am - 11.30am - Good Luck guys.
Birchanger Buddies
A great new toddler group
has been star ted in
Birchanger this January
and we are in need of some support
for start up costs. David Lee provided them with
the much needed funding required to set up and run a quality
program for local children in Birchanger.
Movember
For the first time the team at David Lee joined the fast growing charity
event that is Movember. The charity last year raised £26 million
worldwide and is drawing publicity and awareness to the sometimes
taboo subject of men’s health. The charity focus is on The Prostate
Cancer Charity and Everyman Cancer Research (Testicular). This year
they are on track to raise over £43 million pounds!!! Well done to all the
team we had a great time doing it lets hope it’s bigger and better next year.

Henham 10k Fun Run
A hot day and tough course laid out before us through the beautiful village
of Henham, however the team did really well and all entry monies paid
for the event went to the Henham and Ugly Community School which is a
fantastic village school.

Corporate come dine with us
This event was all in aid of the Isabel Hospice and involved a team of 4 from David
Lee to cook a main course and dessert for 50 people! A daunting experience
for a group for whom beans on toast was a stretch. However the event went
fabulously well and in total raised £1500 on the night for the charity.
Help for Heros Triathlon
It was a 6:30am rise on a misty Sunday morning for a 7:30am start for Shaun’s (Stansted Office) first ever
triathlon. After months of training Shaun felt he was as ready as he could be to take on the 400m swim,
23k bike ride and 5k run. “It was quite worrying as it was my first race and the only time I have been able
to combine all three disciplines at a race pace, but I have really enjoyed the training for it and it was a great
feeling on the day. I’d also like to thank everyone who has sponsored us and for their kind generosity, it has
been great and we have nearly raised £2000 for the charity”
Stansted Fun Run
Well, ‘fun run’ I don’t think! The team would agree the temperature was in the late
20’s and most of the team had not done a great deal of exercise in over a year. We
had a late withdrawal in Jen due to an injury she picked up in training so she was
substituted by new recruit James who actually went on to win
