Mississippi River Gorge Walking Tour The powerful Mississippi carved a limestone gorge , creating a bluff site for the city of Saint Paul and America ’ s only urban national park . This walking tour will focus on the story of the relationship between people and the river . The tour begins at Kellogg Plaza Park with its unique bluff views , then walk along the Wabasha Bridge and descend to the water ’ s edge at Raspberry Island Regional Park . Along the way , you ’ ll learn the secrets and stories of thousands of years in this place . This tour does involve walking down stairs . Tour leaves Gladstone at 9:30 am and returns to the same location at approximately noon . Fee includes transportation and tour fees . Cancellation policy : A $ 10 processing fee will be deducted from the refund when cancelling before May 4 , 2017 . No refunds after this date .
