We have some printed sheets to get you started or bring your adult coloring book.
Cribbage, Pinochle, Bunco and Scrabble: We have had requests to start these activities. Space and times available, we just need more players. Please stop by the adult programs office and leave you name, contact information and the days, times that work best for you. Activities will be scheduled during the most popular times chosen.

Gladstone Meals on Wheels Expands to Cover all of Oakdale
Meals on Wheels is a meal delivery service that provides a hot, daily noon meal, a safety check and a social visit- all delivered by friendly volunteers. Gladstone has been a Ramsey County provider of Meals on Wheels since 1974. Beginning in March 2017, Gladstone Meals on Wheels will have the ability to serve all of Oakdale as well.
Meals on Wheels is perfect for people who are unable to prepare nutritious meals for themselves, who need them for short-term as they recover from an injury or surgery, and anyone who would benefit from the social connection provided by delivery volunteers. There is no age or income requirements. Medicaid waivers and other social subsidy programs can help cover the cost of meals. For those who don’ t qualify for these programs, meals are price affordably.
A Study of Meals on Wheels customers conducted by Brown University in 2015 found that customers reported:
• Improvement in their mental health
• Reductions in worrying about remaining in their home
• Improvement in their self-rated health
• Reductions in the rate of falls
• Reductions in feelings of isolation and loneliness
