illustrations, drawing and other art styles. I think concept artists are visual storytellers, people who can simplify the complexities of imagination and stretch their grey matter to create concepts that are unique and provocative.

What’s the role of an artist in a society?

When you see history, you know of many great artists who brought mass change, in terms of thought, in terms of leadership or in terms of social interactions. You have also heard stories of artists challenging the status quo to bring light upon social issues which are often blinded by the masses. However, in my personal opinion, artists balance out all forms of extremism from a society. Or at least, they try to.

Tell me about a project or accomplishment that you consider to be the most significant in your career?

In simple words, I’d say the mere fact that I can pay my bills and make a living through art, in a society that not only has a very weak infrastructure in this field but also discourages the popularity of this form, is an achievement on its own. So far.

Where is Saker these days?

Fighting the bad guys … in hibernation.

What are your greatest inspirations and influences?

There’s an exhaustive list for this. But to name a few: Marko Djurdjevic, Karl Kopinski, Frank Frazetta, Jon Singer Sargeant, Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, Jordan Peterson, Quentin Tarantino, John Romita Jr...and many more. These are not all artists, by the way.

What do you work towards in your spare time?

Expanding my skill set through learning new software, techniques, lessons in art along with perfecting what I already know. The rest of the time I work towards fixing things..and work towards becoming a better husband.
