SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Sheriff Brian Cruze is the 28th sheriff of Meeker County.
The sheriff’s offi ce is comprised of sworn, civilian and
volunteer staff totaling nearly 100 people, who provide law
enforcement services to an area of 645 square miles.
Meeker County is comprised of 17 townships and 10 cities,
cities
and, as of 2018, has a total
tot al estimated population of 23,141.
The county seat is in Litchfi eld.
The mission of the Meeker County Sheriff’s Offi ce is:
“To provide high quality professional services with honor,
integrity and courage. These services shall preserve the
peace and safeguard the lives and property of all Meeker
County residents through a proactive partnership with the
community and our public safety partners.”
