Dassel’s Red R� ster Days The Dassel Red Rooster Days festival draws quite a crowd to Dassel during Labor Day weekend each year. Beginning as a one-day day event that took place Labor Day, the festival has grown throughout the years to enc encompass the whole weekend weekend, , which includes the region’s largest parade, and the larges largest t chicken BBQ in Minnesota. T he 59th annual Red Rooster Days is scheduled s cheduled fo for Friday, Aug. 31 through Monday Monday, Sept. t. 3. Those attending th the e 2018 celebration can plan on a full weekend. Friday celebration celebrat ion highlights include includ e the Dassel Farmers Market, open in the afternoon, and music at the bandstand in the evening.
