Surry Old Time Fiddlers Convention Fri Mar. 27th - Sat. Mar. 28th Surry
Community College, 630 South Main Street, Dobson, NC 27017. Friday night
begins with a dance featuring three great old-time bands, cake walks, 50-50
drawings, and much, more. Saturday’s festivities begin with individual
competitions for youth and adults leading to the Convention’s competition
for bands Saturday evening. On Saturday, luthier’s will be displaying their
craft as well as exhibits from various clubs associated with Surry Community
College. The Knight’s Grill will be open on Saturday serving some classic
southern dishes. Workshops will also be available on Saturday afternoon.
