he sixth SCCA Chasing the
Dragon Hillclimb is being held
March 22-23 in Robbinsville, NC
on a closed course road in the Joyce
Kilmer National Park. More than 70
cars will be competing for trophies,
c a sh pr i ze s and ch ampion ship
points as part of the Sports Car
Club of A mer ic a - Sout he a st
Division Time Trial Series. This
event allows competition licensed
drivers in prepared sports cars to
race one at a time up a 2.4 mile
mountain road for fastest time in
class competition. The course is
located just off Santeetlah Road
at t he Maple Gap Obser vat ion
Deck near beautiful Robbinsville,
NC in Graham County. There is
no admission for spectators and
shuttle buses carr y racing fans
from the parking lot to each of
the family friendly viewing areas.
