pole lathe, a flintnapper and a chainsaw artist; a tractor-driven tobacco

Dillsboro NC 2872 The WNC Pottery Festival, will showcase the work of
more than 40 highly skilled potters from 13 states. A variety of clay art
styles will be presented. This is a juried event and the lineup of potters
is impressive. The Clay Olympics are Nov 1, 2013 from 1:00-3:00

Stokes Arts will sell drinks, and their own special chicken stew. The
Stokes Arts Council is inviting 10 chicken stew vendors to apply. The
World Championship Chicken Stew is a non-profit fund raising event
organized and sponsored by the Stokes County Arts Council. Our goal
is to provide a family friendly day of fun. There will be arts & crafts as
well as antique vendors. Bring a lawn chair and listen to some music.
