The Town of Danbury will kick off
the event with the annual Stomp
Parade at 10:30am with this year’s
theme “Stokes County, The Great
Outdoors.”
In addition to two days of wonderful music and dance entertainment
on the main stage, the 39th Stokes
Stomp will feature recreation
opportunities with Canoe/Kayak
demonstrations by the Dan River
Basin Association, fishing information by the NC Anglers, and the
Carolina Ziplines mobile zipline.
The Stokes Stomp offers something
for everyone with food and craft
vendors, children’s area stage and
visual arts, heritage village craft
demos, and Civil War encampment.
Free admission.
