in 1994, the Carolina Renaissance
Festival contained just 6 acres of
attractions. Now, the Festival’s 22 acre
fictional storybook village celebrates
20 years of cheers on 325 acres of
pristine autumn woodlands.
The Festival is now one of the largest
renaissance events in the country and
one of the largest attractions in the
Carolinas. Nearly 190,000 expected
attendees will time travel to the village
during 8 consecutive weekends,
Saturdays and Sundays, from October
