Off-Road Assault on Mt. Mitchell Sunday, July 21, 2013 Race begins
at Mountain Gateway Museum Old Fort, NC 28762 The assault is a
63-mile, mostly off-road bicycle route with 11,000 ft. of accumulated
climbing. The route begins and ends in Old Fort climbing to the Blue
Ridge Parkway and on to Mt. Mitchell. Entry fee/cash prizes. For more

Run to the Ridge July 26 – 28, 2013 Veterans Memorial Park- 691 West
Lebanon St. Mt Airy, NC This is the third annual fundraiser for the local
non-profit organization Matthew 25:35. Run to the Ridge features two
stages for musical acts this year, a main stage and local stage. In addition
to music, Run to the Ridge also features a poker run, rat rod show,
motorcycle show, hog cook-off, children’s activities and multiple vendors.
