and its legacy. The festival’s parade
features vintage cars, 1960s music,

the festival, the downtown post
office stamps mail with a “Mayberry,
N.C.,” postmark, and the Bright
Leaf Drive-In Theatre on U.S. 52
North screens Andy Griffith movies.
