3rd Annual North Carolina Brewers and Music Festival H istoric Rural Hill proudly announces that the 3rd Annual North Carolina Brewers and Music Festival will be held Saturday, May 11 with the gates opening at 11:30am. The festival will have great bands and tons of North Carolina’s finest craft brews with over three hours of free tasting. Designated Driver and under 21 tickets are available at a reduced rate so everyone is welcome at the event. On site camping is also available by online reservation. At the 2013 North Carolina Brewers and Music Festival (NCBMF), beer tasting will begin at 12:45 and multiple Craft beers will be available for purchase for the duration of festival hours. NCBMF has confirmed the return of the “Brewers of the Year” from the past years’ festivals - Assclown B re w e r y a n d N o D a B re w i n g Company. Also confirmed for 2013 are Birdsong Brewing, the Duck Rabbit Craft Brewery, Lonerider Brewing, Big Boss Brewing, Natty Greene’s Brewing, Triple C Brewing Company. Heist Brewery, Catawba Valley Brewing, RJ Rockers, Starr Hill, Goose Island, Carolina Brewery, Southern Tier Brewing, Westbend Brewhouse, Free Range Brewing, Four Friends Brewing, Roanoke Railhouse Brewery, and Aviator Brewing Company. Six bands will perform throughout the day at NCBMF including Acoustic Syndicate. With their d i s t i n c t b r a n d o f f o l k ro c k , bluegrass and reggae, coupled with their romper room, ultra high-energy, live performances they are regulars at the biggest music festivals in the country - Bonnaroo, Farm Aid, High Sierra Music Festival, Telluride Music Festival, Merle Fest, Magnolia Fest and many more. Also set to perform at NCBMF are Peter Rowan, Sol Driven Train, Sister Sparrow and the Dirty Birds, MilkDrive, and Brushfire Stankgrass. Come enjoy a ten hour day of fun in beautiful and historic open farmland and privy to all the hand crafted ales and lagers you can savor. The festival features over three hours of free tasting, a day packed full of great music, food, merchandise, children’s activities, beer education, and a chance to learn about and interact with area non-profits.
