ucked away along the North
Harbor in Davidson, is a
little cottage that is a unique
blend of gift shop, bakery, wine
bar/store and gourmet food.
Lake Norman Cottage has
quickly become a favorite spot
on Lake Norman for people who
desire something different. As
the name implies, it is a cottage.
Tables and chairs on the patio
facing the lake, inside wooden tables to congregate and chat with
fellow wine enthusiasts, and a
secluded living room with plush
sofas and chairs to make you feel
like you are the only guests in the
Cottage.
Spontaneous concerts have broken out; even wedding proposals
have been made in the wine room
at Trudis’; it’s almost impossible
to leave the Cottage without
making new friends.
Every time you stop in it’s a little different than last time. Local

constantly changing. It seems
almost weekly Trudi is redecorating the Cottage to celebrate
the holiday… any holiday. If you
