Center. Every third Friday of the month the Downtown Business Association
hosts “Arts on Main.” Sample wines from the Shallowford Wine Trail, food
items, enjoy live music, arts and crafts, a farmer’s market and visit the shops

Sparta, NC Enjoy traditional mountain music that is sure to get your toe tappin’
at the annual Alleghany Fiddler’s Convention. With 40 to 60 bands and over
200 individual competitors each year, fans of mountain music won’t be disappointed. Featuring the Lonesome River Band on Saturday. The convention
is located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains at the Alleghany County
Fairgrounds in Sparta, with lots available for camping. The convention is held
every year on the weekend of the third Saturday in July.
July 16 •Chalk It Up! Main Street - Sidewalks Hendersonville, NC Chalk
It Up! - The sidewalks of Historic Downtown Hendersonville become the
canvas for some outstanding works of art. The event is free and open to five
