Two long-time friends and co-workers in the UK kink scene have joined forces to create a new website aimed specifically at Pro-Dommes and their subs .
Goddess Alexi has been in the industry for 13 years . ‘ I ’ ve done real-time sessions and worked on various different cam platforms ’, she says . ‘ I ’ ve got a great client base and I found that when Covid hit I had to mainly focus on cam , as did so many other Dommes , because I couldn ’ t do the sessions in person . So I really found that there was something missing for Dommes ; just to go online and have the right clientele waiting for them . And that ’ s when we came up with the idea of domin8trix . co . uk - a purpose-built website catering to the needs of both Dommes and subs who want virtual sessions .’
Queen Tricks , the other half of the venture ’ s partnership , also saw this gap in the fetish market and approached Goddess Alexi about starting a new website . They both also recognised the need for fair pricing and good commission rates . ‘ Alexi has a lot of experience on the kink scene ; she ’ s been part of it for a very long time ’, says Queen Tricks . ‘ So she was also aware that there are a lot of platforms out there who currently charge quite a lot of commission , and that was part of the reason why we wanted to do this website , so that we can offer a dedicated space for Dommes and subs and not have the very high commission rates that other sites tend to have .’
Of course , with any venture worth pursuing , the ladies have had many hurdles to overcome .
Setting up a platform with a webcam facility is not straightforward at all ,’ says Goddess Alexi . ‘ It ’ s quite complicated and very involved . Nevertheless , we could see a massive gap in the market . We wanted to offer a cam service where
people didn ’ t feel the need to get their clothing off , because this industry isn ’ t just about that . Some people just want to see women that are dressed in a bit of latex and that ’ s all they need .’
‘ And we wanted to get that message out there to people who are also in the industry – those who feel that they need to show some flesh in order to make a bit of money – that that isn ’ t the case at all ’, adds Queen Tricks .
The ladies started looking into webcam platforms – how they worked and what they would need to build their own – and managed to find a developer to build the whole platform from the ground up .
‘ Our payment process is now in place ,’ says Queen Tricks . ‘ We have to follow strict guidelines and regulations . We ’ ve got merchant banks that are dealing with the website ’ s ability to take transactions . Setting that up was a mission in itself , and took a very long time .’
