The Art of Daniel Nguyen

It would seem as if dominants must always find clever ways to objectify those wonderful women who are so willing to submit to them . Pony , dog , pet , doll , toy , and sometimes even puppet , are common , but wonderful pass times for those of us who love this sort of play . This is , however , certainly not the style of Parisian artist Daniel-Nguyen , photographer , rigger , and sadist , who has developed a certain special , mature style uniquely his own , a special approach to kink .

Daniel certainly objectifies his subjects , but uses the camera instead , treating his models as if they were art : repurposing them as living sculptures , simply bound , pushed to a certain extreme . He poses them in a wonderful variety of positions and cruel predicaments , many most unnatural and uncomfortable : bent , arched , spread , compressed , suspended , and even shamelessly so , depicted sometimes in a most graphic way .
Shibari seems to be his go-to style , but this is Shibari with a certain western twist . More often than not , he rigs with a certain brutal minimalism befitting a modern , western adage , “ Form follows function .” Daniel ’ s “ function ,” is to show the female form bluntly bound and shamelessly delivered for your viewing pleasure .
