These terms sound intimidating, but they are actually pretty easy to understand.
Traditional Design and Construction is how things have been done for a very long time.
For this approach, the person building the structure has to hire both a designer and a
contractor to complete the project.
An example of this would be a couple who want to construct their dream home. Going by
the traditional approach, they would first hire a designer to create the home on paper and
predict how much the home will cost. Once that is done, they then hire a contractor who
then proceeds to hire sub-contractors to build the home from the foundation to the roof.
