Soy Hadas Neuman. Nací y me crié en Israel. Directora, guionista y bueno, ¡un Bush!
En hebreo, Hadas es Myrtus, que significa un tipo de arbusto con hermosas flores. En la cultura judía las Hadas acompañan el ciclo de la vida judío: es costumbre recitar una bendición sobre la planta Hadas en la circuncisión, bodas y funerales.
Así me gusta pensar que cada vez que circuncidan a alguien por lo menos soy bendecida.
Yo serví como un directora de fotografía en la armada israelí, así que entrevistarme en inglés es siempre gracioso para mi, porque suelo decir que disparé a mucha gente durante mi servicio.
Ahora estoy trabajando en Tel-Aviv, enseñando cine en la escuela secundaria al mismo tiempo que escribo y dirijo películas. Y pronto seré una estudiante e investigadora de M. A film (en el campo del cine y danza) en la Universidad de Amsterdam de las Artes a la vez que participar en la residencia de artistas WOW.

In Hebrew, Hadas (= Myrtus) means a kind of a bush with lovely flowers. In the Jewish culture the Hadas accompanies the Jewish cycle of life: it is customary to recite a blessing over the Hadas plant in circumcision, weddings and funerals.
So I like to think that every time someone gets circumcised - at least I’m getting blessed.
I served as a cinematographer in the Israeli army, so interviewing in english is always funny to me, as I get to say that I shot a lot of people during my service.
Nowadays I’m based in Tel-Aviv, teaching filmmaking in high-school alongside writing and directing films. I will soon be an M.A film student & researcher (in the film & dance field) at the Amsterdam University of the Arts alongside taking part at the WOW artist residency.
