GENERAL INFORMATION
ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
USASF teams at The Dance Worlds :
• must represent a USASF club ;
• must be accompanied by an eligible USASF coach to enter warm-up areas ; and
• may not compete in the same division at The Dance Worlds and also at a 2024 end-ofseason , multi-brand event .
PERFORMANCE ORDER
Performance orders for all Dance Worlds divisions will be randomly assigned and available on TheDanceWorlds . net in early April 2024 . In finals , teams will perform in reverse order of their performance rankings , with results announced after each division ' s competition round .
PRELIMS , SEMIFINALS , FINALS
These teams will compete on the first day of competition , Friday , April 26 : - USASF Senior Small Jazz - prelims for U . S . teams with at-large bids - USASF Senior Small Pom - prelims for U . S . teams with at-large bids - USASF Senior Small Contemporary Lyrical - prelims for U . S . teams with at-large bids - IASF Junior Division - semifinals for all teams
• A minimum of 50 percent of Senior Division teams in prelims will advance to semifinals .
• A minimum of 50 percent of Senior Division teams in semifinals will advance to finals regardless of the number of teams competing in semifinals . All IASF Open Divisions and Junior Division teams will compete in semifinals .
• The top three teams from each country in the IASF Open and Junior Divisions will advance from semifinals to finals .
SCORING
• Scores do not carry over from one round to the next .
• Senior Division teams will be scored on USASF score sheets TheDanceWorlds . net .
• Open and Junior Division teams will be scored on IASF score sheets . IASFworlds . com .
THE DANCE WORLDS AWARDS
• Each team will receive a participation trophy .
• Trophies will be awarded to the top 10 teams in each division .
• Gold , silver or bronze medallions will be awarded to athletes on teams ranking first , second or third .
• First-place teams in each division will receive championship banners and each athlete who competed on the floor with that team will receive a Worlds champion ring .
IASF NATIONS CUP CHAMPIONSHIP
In addition to the USASF / IASF awarding the top 10 in each of the Open divisions , the IASF will rank each country ’ s highest scoring team in each Open division final . Nations Cup trophies will be awarded to five top-ranking teams representing five different countries .
SUBMITTING VIDEOS FOR LEGALITY REVIEW
For added confidence at Worlds , submit a skill video for legality review . A USASF official will assess each video privately , and results will be shared only with your club . The submission deadline is April 7 , and results will be sent by April 17 , 2024 . Videos submitted after April 7 won ' t be reviewed .
NOTE : Video reviews aim to help identify potential penalties but won ' t guarantee a penalty-free performance at The Dance Worlds . USASF legality officials will be available in the warm-up area for assistance if needed .

PRACTICE FLOOR RENTALS NOT OFFERED
USASF will not offer practice floor rentals at this event . With prelims beginning on Friday , April 26 , the space traditionally used for practice floor rental will be needed for competition teams .
NOTE : IASF will provide complimentary 20-minute practice blocks for international teams . Watch for more information from IASF regarding scheduling .
DISNEY COSTUME RULE
Teams may not use Disney themes , nor may they have costumes that resemble Disney characters . However , Disney music is acceptable if following the music guidelines as found on page 17 .
COVERAGE , LIVE STREAMING
Results and behind-the scenes coverage will be posted regularly throughout the weekend on TheDanceWorlds . net . Live streaming of performances will be available by subscription through FloCheer . com . FREE ACTION MOMENTS
Action Moments Photography will have up to four cameras on each Worlds stage , capturing hundreds of action shots of your athletes during each performance . Coaches or club owners will receive photo links to share with athletes and parents .
