Dr. Tan, along with the other physicians and staff, at the
North Texas Heart Center are committed to providing comprehensive
cardiovascular care distinguished by compassion, guided by state-ofthe-art technologies, and devoted to preventative care. The practice
emphasizes individualized care supported by a team approach.
Dr. Tan and all physicians at North Texas Heart Center are board
certified in cardiovascular diseases, with most having advanced
training and/or added certification in interventional cardiology,
electrophysiology, heart failure/cardiac transplantation, nuclear
cardiology, echocardiography, and cardiac computerized tomography.
Dr. Tan trained at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and
Stanford University Medical Center where he served on the medical staff
before joining North Texas Heart Center. He has received numerous
awards for clinical excellence, research, and clinical teaching. He
has been named to the Best Doctors in America, Top Doctors in Texas,
and the Best Doctors in Dallas list for a number of years. He currently
serves as the president and managing physician for North Texas
Heart Center. He enjoys travel and raises American Quarter Horses.
