FLIGHT

FLIGHT stands for Future Leaders Inspiring Growth, Honor, and Talent and is a new afterschool program created for middle school students paid for by the Minnesota Department of Education After-School Community Learning grant. Experience a fun and safe space to explore unique opportunities at no cost from the hours of 2-6 p. m. during the school year.

SCHOOL YEAR 2026-2027

Open daily, Monday-Friday, 2-6 p. m.

FALL: Sept. 21, 2026-Nov. 25, 2026 WINTER: Dec. 1, 2026-March 5, 2027 SPRING: March 9, 2027-May 27, 2027

Skyview Middle School 1100 Heron Ave N, Oakdale
John Glenn Middle School 1560 E County Rd B, Maplewood
EXAMPLES OF ACTIVITIES OFFERED
Junior Achievement, Cultural Exploration, Model United Nations, Sports / Physical Fitness, Dance( K-Pop, Hiphop, etc.), Dungeons & Dragons, Minecraft, Makerspace, Theater, Arts … and so much more!
FREE ACTIVITY BUS
Every day at 4 p. m.
This program is fully funded with a grant from the Minnesota Department of Education using state funding, After-School Community Learning Programs. The contents of this program do not necessarily represent the policy of the U. S. Department of Education or the Minnesota Department of Education, and you should not assume endorsement by the federal or state government.

Registration is Open Aug 17- Sept 11

Families must register separately for each season: fall, winter and spring. FLIGHT does not operate during the summer.

Register for the club that best fits your interests and your family’ s schedule, or join us for the entire program! Students need to attend school in District 622 to participate. Space is limited and registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Afternoon snacks are provided.
