COURSE REGISTRATION POLICIES & INFORMATION

Confirmation
Confirmation is by email only. You will be notified when a class is filled, canceled, or rescheduled. Credit card payments will appear on your statement as“ ISD 622 Community Ed.”
Cancellations
ISD 622 Community Education reserves the right to cancel classes due to lack of enrollment or in the event of emergencies. Make-up lessons or refunds are only available for classes postponed by the program. There are no make-ups for student absences. Class supplies or tickets that have been purchased or committed are non-refundable regardless of cancellation date.
Refunds
To receive a refund, you must cancel your registration at least 7 days before your class starts or 21 days before a day tour. A $ 10 processing fee applies to all refunds. Refunds or credits are not available after the published cancellation deadline. If Community Education cancels a class or tour, or if we are unable to accommodate your registration due to capacity limits, you will receive a full refund or credit. Some day tours( Ed-Ventures) have additional cancellation and refund policies, so please refer to the tour description for details.
Closings Due to Weather
In case of bad weather, tune in to local media – broadcast, print, and online for information on school closures, or check the district’ s website at www. isd622. org for the most current updates. Classes are not held when schools are closed due to the weather.
Online Classes
Many in-person classes are designed to be offered online should the need for distance learning arise. You will be notified in advance and if you choose to attend the class online, you will receive an email with the class link and the handouts. If you do not wish to attend online, your registration will be refunded. Online classes will be delivered via Zoom. You will need to download Zoom to your computer, laptop, iPad or smartphone. See www. zoom. us for instructions. You will receive an email the day before your online class with the class link and any handouts for the class.
Emergency
Program staff will take whatever emergency measures are judged necessary for the care and protection of the participant while under their supervision. In case of an emergency, the participant will be transported to an appropriate medical facility by the local emergency unit for treatment, if the local emergency resources deem it necessary. It is understood that in some medical situations the staff will need to contact local emergency resources before the parent / guardian or emergency contact is notified. Any expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the participant / participant’ s family.
Youth Drop-off / Pick-up
Parents / guardians must sign in and out for non-school day programs. For afterschool classes, please indicate on the registration form what your child will do after class, and who is authorized for pick-up.
