Socrates Costicoglou is the Director Applications & R & D Division of Space Hellas . He holds a Dipl-Eng . degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Patras , Greece , and an M . Sc . in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University , New York , USA . He joined Space Hellas in 1998 and currently as Director of IT , Applications & R & D Division of Space Hellas is responsible for the management and execution of several projects commercial and R & D related to the topics of Cloud Computing and Application , Cybersecurity , Quantum QKD , Observability , 5G / 6G , SatCom , OSINT , Sensor Networks and IoT / Digital Twins . Since 2010 is working in large scale commercial projects like Greece N-VIS Project for the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Hellenic Police Projects ( AFIS System , PNR , SPOC , eCrime ), Malta MITA Hybrid Cloud Project as a principal Technical Project Manager and Architect . He is also leading the R & D activities of Space Hellas and he has a significant track record both as the project coordinator and a reviewer in both European and National funded R & D Projects ( H2020 , Horizon Europe , ESA , EDIDP , EDF ). He was the project coordinator of the EU H2020 FCT-10-2014 City . Risks Project . He was also the coordinator of ACRITAS in Maritime Border Security . He was member of the executive board of the Hellenic Space Technologies and Applications Cluster ( si-Cluster ) in Greece , of which Space Hellas is a founding member . He is author or co-author of more than 30 publications in international journals and referred conferences / workshops .
Nikolaos Drosos works as a Senior R & D Project Manager in the R & D department of Space Hellas . He holds a BSc in management science and technology ( with specialization in information systems ) and an MSc in information systems ( with specialization in Security of information systems ), both from the Athens University of Economics and Business . He has long track in delivering innovative ICT solutions through his participation since 2009 in numerous EU and National Research activities . He is holding the PMP ( Project Management Professional ) certification . As project and technical manager , he has been involved in various EU R & D Projects mainly in the cyber security and security area , including the coordination and technical management of cyber security projects ( e . g . PANDORA EDIDP project ). Currently he is the Coordinator of AInception EDF Project .

It is therefore imperative to enhance defence capabilities and AI-based techniques for incident management , detection and response are promising , since they can learn and adapt to changes in the cyber environment . Space Hellas , as one of the largest Digital Integrators and Service Providers in Southeast Europe , undertakes major Cyber Security projects and provides the relevant professional services ( including Managed Security Operation Center and Governance Risk and Compliance ). At the same time , with a view to tackling contemporary challenges like the ones mentioned above , Space Hellas leads and contributes to Cyber Defence R & D initiatives . Space Hellas capitalizes on these developments and utilizes new advanced technologies in order to provide enhanced Cyber Defence operations and capabilities .
