US Vice President Bide Biden visit sends energy message ‘loud and clear’ US vice-president Joe Biden arrived in Cyprus on May Wednesday 21 evening touching down at Larnaca airport in Air Force 2 around 6.20pm under tight security, the most senior US official to visit in more than 50 years, as the quest to find alternative energy routes into Europe focused international attention on the continent’s only divided country.
